Eco Wedding Feasts

Poco Weddings

As well as a rich and colourful history catering for hoards of festival merrymakers at the best parties Britain has to offer, we have also brought our ethical and colourful food offerings to the most special and exciting celebrations in the country- weddings. Delivering fresh, exciting and ethical food to weddings is the most rewarding experience.

The Food

There’s nothing we like better than cooking huge communal feasts, with abundant vibrant dishes that are great shared between loved ones. We like to bring an alfresco french wedding feel to the food, keeping it rustic and packed with flavour.

The heart of our Festival cafe’s, Poco Loco has its barbecue and char grill out front among the throngs, adding theatre and forming the heart of our travelling menu. Where we can we bring this passion for cooking over fire to our weddings, flame grilling meats, barbecuing fish and charring vegetables.

We are licenced to sell alcohol and adept mixologists so we can easily run a bar as part of your feast and celebration or even something as simple as an cocktail aperatif.

At our restaurant in Bristol our work at reducing our environmental impact have been applauded and awarded.  Raymond Blanc, chairman of the Sustainable Restaurant Association handed us the SRA Award for Environment at the start of 2013 and later that same year we were given the Observer Food Monthly Best Ethical Restaurant award. We work tirelessly to reduce our footprint and make sure the money we spend stays in our local economy. These same ethics are applied to our wedding feasts so you can rest assured that every piece of meat has been caringly reared, each fish is from sustainable sources and our largely organic vegetables have been pulled from the earth of a farm under fifty miles from our cafe.

With our experience of working in the festival field that we have we can accommodate virtually any working location.

A few words from Mr and Mrs Lie

“Asking Poco to cater for our wedding day was probably the single best decision we made. Ben and the team were infectiously passionate about the seasonal and locally sourced ingredients and prepared us a banquet of wonderful dishes that offered something for every one of our 100 guests. The food was absolutely packed with flavour and made a beautiful and vivid spread. “
